DW's sister is having an affair with her martial arts instructor who is married and 20 years her senior. SIL is single with 1 DD.

Someone annonymously emailed the governing body if the martial art he instructs and told them about the affair as it directly contravenes their code of practice for instructors.

SIL is horrified that someone would shop them and her OM is likely to get into deep shit with governing body.

I thought it was quite 'funny' and didnt have a problem with them being shopped as what they are doing is wrong but my DW is not so sure. She is horrified at her sisters behaviour and is trying to distance herself from the situation.

OM keeps promising to leave his DW of 20 yrs and claims his marriage is dead despite going on holiday with dw next week. He keeps putting the timetable for leaving his DW back from the end of this month to november then to the new year and now to easter.

DOes anyone else thing that this person was right to shop the OM to his governing body?

No, not really, it's no one else's business really but it's happened now and fallout will have to happen.

This is what happens when you cross the line and enter into relationships that are wrong, you take the risk of the explosion happening.

I am always viciously pleased to see cheaters lies blown out of the water personally. The only person I feel sorry for in this situation is the poor cheated wife.

But I would put money on it that she's not the first.

I wish I had shopped them. It hadnt occured to me to do it until we found out that someone had. I am not into martial arts so had no idea that there was a code of practice or a governing body to which he could be reportred.
