although Peter has asked her. on friday i need dd1 collected from school as i will be taking peter on a trip out and may not be back in time to collect dd1.

MIL is always out, and sees peter each day so i asked if he could ask her. As i didnt want to ask her as apparently i only call when i want soemthing. this is despite me calling to check everyone is ok. I have 1001 other things to do apart from play mind games with MIL. its really bothering me now. last week she made arrangements for dd1 to go over there, i only knew about it afterwards, so had to call to see what was happening there. its doing my head in.

I wouldn't want to send her flowers either! Silly cow. Am I right in thinking that Peter has asked her to pick DD up on Friday, but she won't unless you ask her as well? If so, then she sounds mental!

(sounds really familiar saying "peter" instead of your DH Grin )

misdee · 15/03/2006 14:38

yes thats what happened. i have called her tho. made a bit of small talk then asked. dd1 isnt very well atm as her asthma isnt under control. so she may not be in school on friday anyway.

How odd - why do you have to ask as well? Surely if somebody has asked her, that's enough?!

She sounds a very strange lady

misdee · 15/03/2006 14:42

because i apparently dont call her for a chat anymore.

well she doesnt call me either!!

er have you told the woman that you may have one or two things on your plate atm that may put small talk on the back burner?

ffs

I would send her a dummy as she is obviously a small child herself.
