Omg omg EXCITEDDDD!
I THINK/HOPE my boyfriend's going to propose! He's gone shopping with my sister for 'my good luck present' (starting new job next week) and I found him rooting around in my jewellery box this morning inspecting my rings and trying them on himself.
This was seen through the crack of the door so can't say for certain Blush. We've spoken about 'our wedding' before and he has said he'd like to marry me. Am I clutching at straws here?!

No they seem like big signs! Don't expect it really soon though in case he's planning on workinhg up to the actual proposal!

Can I urge caution? Picture the scene: I had just given birth and we registered DS with DP's surname on, I thought, the tacit understanding that we would be getting married. My birthday had just gone, but DP told me my gift was taking a little longer because it was something really special...Gasp! He left to go and pick it up (we live in an area with lots of diamond and antique sellers) I checked his browsing history (i know I know) and he had been googling engagement rings, got all excited, he came back with a little bag from a diamond jewellers, took out a box...It was a tiny diamond necklace upon which I burst into tears and said I didn't want it.

I got my ring eventually though Grin

Haven't you only been with him a few months?

izzyizin · 30/08/2012 20:04

If I observed a guy rooting through my jewellery box and trying my rings on I'd be checking to make sure no items were missing.

I'd also check my closet and my underwear drawer to see what else he may have been trying on Gin

You've only known him 5 minutes, Em, and you've got a dd to consider. What's the rush?

izzyizin · 30/08/2012 20:06

should have been a Grin but a Gin will go nicely with a tonic

OhEmGee24 · 30/08/2012 20:54

No rush iz at all! Prob not gonna happen anyway. Just me being giddy. Send a g&t my way
