To think there's more to it?!

Me and my other half and been somewhat on/off and a few months back I discovered an email address that I didn't know about.
His answer was that he hardly used it in
Favour of his work email however when I looked through it there were emails from dating sites.
He admitted he looked when we had broken up and although these sites didnt have a joining date on them they both had a last log in date which was when we was apart.
Yesterday I checked to see if he was registered on other dating sites after he swore blind it was only those 2 and so far I've found another 2.
Now these do look totally unused, there's nothing in the history, even "winks" that you can send for free that he admitted to doing on the other ones.
One has a joining date of the year before we met an the other doesn't have one but shows the mobile registered as the one he had when he met me but had it for a year before.
He said he just forgot and if he'd remembered he'd have said as 2 or 4 makes no difference.
Aibu to think he's gone on them whilst we've been together even though I have no proof??

Sorry Iggle, but why are you looking at his emails?

JumpingThroughMoreHoops · 18/08/2012 10:34

Why were you looking?

It seems to be you'd be best advised to report your post and ask for it to be moved to Relationships.

It also seems to me that if you have suspicions about your oh which have led you to search his private correspondence, you're best advised to heed your instincts before you become further embroiled with him.

Igglepiggle999 · 18/08/2012 14:24

I looked as it came up on msn messenger.
I don't think it's wrong I looked, there shouldn't be any secrets in my opinion.

I think its completely wrong to look through your partners phone and email, especially as you are looking at what he was up to when you were apart. Thats his business and you have no right to question him about it. If you don't trust him enough to believe what he tells you then maybe you shouldn't be with him.

squeakytoy · 18/08/2012 14:57

You have posted 3 threads over the last four days about your trust issues in your relationship. You dont trust him, and if you want this relationship to work, then you have to stop raking over what happened while you were apart. You are back together now, so rebuild the relationship, because you seem hell bent on finding something to beat him with. It isnt going to work out if this is the way you want to carry on.

shorttermnamechange · 18/08/2012 15:36

While it is not ever nice to see evidence that your partner looked at other women, ever, if he did it before he met you or when you had broken up, then you don't really have much to object to. He was entitled to do whatever he liked at that point in time.

You don't have any reason (based on this post) to assume he has lied to you or cheated on you, so if I were you, I would stop looking.

HaveALittleFaith · 18/08/2012 15:47

I was going to say exactly what squeaky said. I don't see how you can move forward with this man.

Pandemoniaa · 18/08/2012 15:50

I think that the more you snoop look, the more you'll dislike what you find. It's difficult to see quite what crime he's committed from what he did before he met you and while you are apart and you are going to have to get over this or terminate the relationship. I think YABU in jumping to conclusions too and assuming that what he did then means he's repeating the behaviour now. But from reading your other threads it is clear that you no longer trust him and I don't think a healthy relationship can be sustained without trust.

Hi, we've moved this into Relationships. Thanks.

If they are more obscure dating site the profile may have been cloned. Have a look at the username. If its his usual username then he might be fibbing but if it's got a random number stuck to the end or beginning he may be telling the truth
