What would you do if you saw text messages on your dp's phone from a friend of his of the opposite sex who he had been intimate with in the past which said things like:
"I feel poorly i need cuddle xxx" and "Love you xxx"
Responded to by dp saying "Love you too xxx"
He had previously fell out with this friend and said he had stopped inviting her round to his after she refused to meet me and wouldn't give a good reason as to why. So last i heard was they were still talking but not best friends any more then i see this.
I asked him why there was a msg from her with xxx's on the end and when he took the phone he deleted the message where he replied "I love you too xxx" not knowing that i had already seen it and lied to my face while saying "well i cant control what she says and i didn't respond to it"
When confronted with the fact that i had seen the whole conversation he apologised and said he only deleted it because he knew it would upset me and he is sorry for being inappropriate with this woman. He is in tears and is telling me how sorry he is and he knows i wont believe him but he will stop talking to this woman altogether and i just dont know what to do. I believe he is sorry but he also lied to my face so how can i trust him again?
