Did it help your marriage?

I'm thinking of going for marriage counseling with DH but am worried that it might make things worse.

No it made things worse but exp is an emotional abuser so it would never have worked. I think it can help if you and your partner are prepared to be challenged in your behaviour by a counsellor and both actively participate in a process. If the answer to those is no for either or both of you then it won't work.

I'm thinking that it would be good for us. We have had alot of problems, with DH lying and cheating on me.

But the other half is scared. What if it makes things worse?

DH has said he will go if I think we need it. And will do what it takes to make things better. But I'm worried
