shake the cans up, go to bed and listen to him screaming when he opens the next one!

Flossam · 08/03/2006 21:17

I'd be a little bit annoyed. But DP always offers, he always hopes I might get a little tipsy and ammeniable IMO! If not, he'd usually go back out and get something for me, or at least pay for me to do so!! Smile

starlover · 08/03/2006 21:20

next time you go shopping only buy yourself food. after all... he didn't ask for anything did he?

alexsmum · 08/03/2006 21:22

that's exactly what i said to him starlover! grrr..and i can't even drink some of his because real ale type stuff and i only like lager.Sad

crazydazy · 08/03/2006 21:29

DP gets annoyed because he asks me, I say no and then he comes home with a bottle of wine which I keep asking him for a little sip of.....Grin

Really winds him up.

alexsmum · 08/03/2006 21:32

threelittlebabies · 08/03/2006 22:21

Was going to say have some of his, but pmsl at kbear's suggestion! I agree Grin

Mytwopenceworth · 08/03/2006 22:24

right. here's what you do. take the cans. turn them over and poke a hole in the bottom. let all the beer drain out. fill the cans with water and seal the hole - tiny piece of tape or something - anything strong enough and waterproof. Then put the cans back in the fridge.

It's not big, it's not clever, but my goodness it's satisfying.

NotActuallyAMum · 08/03/2006 23:16

I would be mightily pissed off!!

Selfish git!!

Seriously, my DP would never do this and I wouldn't do it to him either

How would he feel if you did it to him I wonder?

QE2 · 08/03/2006 23:17

Selfish git - yes I would be mightily pee'd off with him if that were me!

alexsmum · 09/03/2006 09:06

ok i forgive him.he realised the error of his ways and after that first drink left the rest in the fridge. His argument was, I'd sent him to the shop for ice cream,if i'd wanted a drink i'd have asked for that too.
Still no excuse but he's normally very nice so i'll let him off!
