Ok I will mail and aks him how he is etc and I guess he will reply and then I leave it until maybe we have mailed a few times? Then ask? Ok I think I can do that!

No i bumped into mine a few times, each time we'd talk a bit longer, in fact i suggested it outside Tescos Grin

But yes, asking how he is is a good starting point and build it up.. I'm no expert mind you, but i am quite old Grin
