So, I read 50 shades, yes its badly written but oh my! it appears to have created a monster!

I have since discovered some properly written erotica (thanks to reccomendations on MN) and im a new person!!
The old me, in mummy mode, with body issues, terrible bedroom shyness and non existant sex drive has gone and Dh does not quite know what to make of the new me, its like im 19 again Grin

I have spent the last hour opening the box of things I have just ordered from Coco De Mer! Im not sure if i should be this excited but having never even been to an Ann summers party before because "its not my thing" this is a massive step for me in terms of confidence Grin

Now im waiting for the DC bedtime to i can show Dh what i bought, I love this new person ive become.

just had to share with someone, and im not sure its really appropriate for a FB status WinkBlush

Mad4... Brilliant for you & DH! A fun weekend then! What's the better erotica you've discovered please?! Wouldnt know where to start...

mumof4sons · 07/07/2012 15:27

Do tell us the name of the other books you've read.

Have fun with the DH tonight!!

mad4 · 07/07/2012 15:27

thanks Smile
there is a thread on it on the adult fiction board i think, the coco de mer website sell books and also xcite books (google it) do a really good selection, some of which have plain covers too so you could read them in public should you choose to..
However i found i did have to read the book synopsis and the reviews as some of the books are a bit hardcore for my tastes.

Im a complete convert and I always thought "that sort of book" was for pervy old men - how wrong was i! i do think this is going to be a turning point in our marriage. And in my head all the lead male characters (christian grey included) look like my Dh...thats a good thing right! Grin

If I could 'Like' your post I would Grin

AND I found a dainty floral teacup on that website with 'whore' on it. Fantastic!
