So DP had a couple of moments last year with OW, old 'friends' from fb, I've talked about it on here. This is recent, discovered everything back in March.

I've now got all of his passwords etc and do check up on his fb, email etc now and again. This morning I looked at his fb notifications and he'd been 'poked' by a woman who isn't on his friends list although they have mutual friends, I don't know her. It seems so pathetic but I instantly deleted her notification and blocked her, haven't told him although if he's really savvy he'll eventually find out who's on his blocked list.

So how would you feel. Has she just 'poked' him to get his attention, why not just send a bloody friend request ffs! I don't understand people at times! I think I need to get a grip and move on from this but I do have problems (understandably) at the moment and any small thing is magnified, so am I being pathetic, honesty please.

But then I don't get 'checking up' on your partner and accessing their phone, emails and Facebook. I don't understand why people stay with a partner they don't trust - its an intrinsic part of a relationship for me.

Possibly because that trust has been shattered and my life turned upsidedown but we are working on it, little things like this though make me wonder if it's worth working it through.

And he freely gave me his passwords, I haven't 'acquired' them.

Come on, you know this is ridiculous. If he wants to cheat, he'll cheat and no amount of blocking other women is going to stop that.

The only thing you're going to achieve is to drive yourself crazy, is this relationship really worth that?

You're right pickled, on reflection my actions today were a knee jerk reaction to what's happened. I've now discussed what I've done with dp. He's explained who she is and that she had in fact sent a friend request but he's not accepted as it came through during the time the shit had hit the fan at home.

I need to sort out my self esteem.
