Its mine and my DP's 1 year anniversary on the 16th july- and I have no idea what to get him!
We are expecting a child in december so we don't have a lot of money spare, and I've been struggling with hyperemesis so going for a meal is off the menu!
I have month idea what to get him.. Suggestions/ advice please?!

Traditionally it's cotton (i think, may be paper)

Traditionally it?s paper ? I bought my DH tickets to a concert.

My friend bought her DH a copy of The Karma Sutra which he liked?..Blush

Magazine subscription? Although beware OP, if he's anything like my DH he will then continue to subscribe forever after and you might end up with hundreds of volumes of said magazine that 'just can't be thrown away/got rid of/sold/kept tidy out of sight' - delete as appropriate!!!

We try to use the traditional gift stuff as inspiration so that would be paper. I got DH a copy of the Karma Sutra :o

Photo album? Start it with your scan pic and write a note saying you can't wait to see the pics he will fill the rest with over the coming year...?
