dilemma

back last october my husband and i split up after i caught him chatting up women online, i have been to hell and back in the last few months,

tonight i got a text supposedly from him but its from her as the spelling is too good to be him asking for our marriage certificate so he can go for a divorce,

the civilised me says yep give him the bloody thing the wicked me says no way make him wait for his divorce what would you do in my shoes

Do you want a divorce? If you do then just post it. Don't reply to texts and just move on. If you don't want a divorce, well then it's a different matter altogether.

If she he wants a copy of your marriage certificate I would suggest you let her him work out that he can get one from the General Register Office.

Should he file for divorce now and you don't consent, he'll have to wait 5 years from the date of your separation to divorce you without your consent.

thank you for the replies no children together we were both older when we married, hes probably too thick to work that one out lol but shes not so i suppose thats what they will do, im not arsed wether im divorced or not ive moved on emotionally anyway, but ooh its tempting to make him wait five whole years hehe might just not sign the papers revenge is a dish best served cold
