Since when has sulking been a seduction technique?

And can someone please tell my dh that it is not?

Sulking away with his bottom lip stuck out (metaphorically).

He will get even less if he carries on.

Pah.

LOL too late.

harpsichordcarrier · 23/02/2006 13:40

naughty step for him?

oliveoil · 23/02/2006 13:42

I'll give him some sort of step, goose maybe.

Honestly, do they really think that you will suddenly go all Ann Summers as they are in a huff?

Doing some housework, making me a cup of tea, finding the bloody bibs without asking me etc etc.

sulking is the WORST isn't it?
it irritates the hell out of me, really
being one of five myself it never worked when I was a kid
you could sulk for DAYS and no-one would notice
or indeed care

oliveoil · 23/02/2006 13:44

I don't do sex threads as a rule so am not going to do any informing BUT things are fine imo, seeing as though we have 2 children etc etc.

Does he expect nightly??????!!!!!!!!!

hold on olive oil this hadn't quite sunk in with me before
he is sulking because you won't have sex with him?????
well that is not only irritating, it is plain misguided...
"ah I see you are sulking
well I fancy you soooooo much now, I must get my knockers off immediately"
yeah right

harpsichordcarrier · 23/02/2006 13:53

knickers

oliveoil · 23/02/2006 13:53

Yes!

Sulking because in his opinion, he is missing out. Ha!

Time to seduce him with some clingy latex then...

They do make Marigolds in his size.

Lilyofthevalley · 23/02/2006 14:20

IMO the bigest turn on for me at the mo is if DH filled the dishwasher once in a while or did the hoovering. If he did my clothes would just fall off. But, no, the he seems to think that him playing the xbox for 4 hours a night is much more of a turn on for me.

gorgeousnewGRAVITY · 23/02/2006 14:22

seduction........... hmmmmmmm....... i recall that word and even that technique........... vaguely.............very very very vaguely

FrayedKnot · 23/02/2006 14:29

LOl at LOTV's clothes falling off a la Kenny Everett sketch.

IME most men will take whatever they can get. If you say let's do it nightly thwey will want it twice a day and sulk. If you say monthly, they will adore you if they get it once a week.

Etc.

Kelly1978 · 23/02/2006 14:43

Mine annoys the hell out of me with that. he goes all silent but insists he isn't sulking and there is nothing wrong with him, reckons he just doesn't have anything to say. Mentally he is screaming I want sex!!!
I'm thinking I want to throttle him!

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 23/02/2006 14:50

complete opposite in this house at the moment.... my sex drive through the roof, DH's through the floor..... and YES im sulking!

Kelly1978 · 23/02/2006 14:55

jabm and olive need to do a swap then
