DH and I have had another blazing row.
All started because I sighed at him when he didn't follow instructions on how to replace the ink in the printer...and I told him to leave me alone and let me do it.
It's now escalated to him telling me I'm just like his exw and he's not been happy for ages and I'm pathetic and childish and always in a bad mood.
Now he's stormed off and I'm in tears. Again. We've only been married six months FFS!!!

To coin a phrase 'don't sweat the petty stuff, and don't pet the sweaty stuff'.

He was trying to help and you criticised him. I'm not the most calm person in the world and would be quite likely to take the hump at that as well.

Pick your battles, only fight over the things that really really matter. In the grand scheme of things printer ink does not matter. Let it go.

You attacked his ego,and he didnt like it.
Mens egos can be very fragile and important to them.
Hopefully others will come on with some helpful advice for you.
