Ok so things are going well with an old flame,a few kisses shared, nothing more yet. It's our third date tomorrow, so far we have done night out with mutual friends, quiet picnic on our own and so what next ? ..... Nothing on at cinema that I fancy really. What would be special for you, with out costing loads!

Pub quiz night? Confession... was very keen on one bloke I met until he turned out to be thick (and I mean thick) as two short planks in a quiz Blush

My third date to DH was a takeaway, icecream and a film at his house. Are you comfortable doing that?

MushroomSoup · 01/06/2012 13:50

And I went home afterwards after a peck on the cheek ... But there are other options then! Wink

if it's the daytime, a nice walk around pretty garden type place/historical site is good for chats. If in the evening, check if your local pubs are doing live music?

Daytime or evening? Walk followed by pub lunch is a good weekend daytime one (that can carry on into the late afternoon/evening if you want). Whereabouts are you? Near where I live there are loads of museums & galleries which are open in the evening & also serve drinks so you can booze & be all cultural at the same time - is there anything like that near you?

I always think cinemas are a bit crap for dates, TBH, as you can't really talk - unless you were planning on snogging in the back row of course Wink

Thanks for replies, sorry I got bogged down with kids this afternoon so couldn't post. Fab suggestions so far, it's a night time date, tomorrow, not sure what to wear either and feeling very much like a teenager againBlush

Yep a bit of snogging on the back row would have been nice! A lively pub seems a good plan, we sort of did that last time, but with other friends.

So another question then, it's been sixteen years since we had sex, we were each others first and he is hotter today than he was then even! It will have to be good, pressure is huge, although we've talked it down, and want to take it slow. First time with DH stories would be lovely, I want it to be very special!

First time with my dp was amazing Blush. We are both a bit sickeningly soppy so it was all candles and nice music on a huge fluffy rug which to us was perfect. We waited about 6 weeks from first date, i didn't want to rush and he completely respected it. And um yep nothin else to add there really but to me it was perfect. BUT don't put pressure on yourself. How exciting to rekindle something after so long, just enjoy it and don't rush into anything!

First, That sounds just lovely!
