Can you really divorce on-line?

I need to divorce and quick! After googling, there is obviously lots on-line. Can it really be so simple and done cheap, quick and on-line or is that just not true? Would I have to go through a solicitor/court?

I think if you are both in agreement then you can do most of it without a solicitor. The complications come in when there are disputes over money etc.

You might get more assistance if you repost this in Legal.

Providing both parties agree, or you are divorcing without the consent of your spouse after a separation of 5 years or more, it is easy to divorce online.

A few years ago I used quickiedivorce.com i think it was, pretty cheap, VERY easy, chucked in a new will in a buy one get one free type offer Grin

But we were in agreement on separation and divorce with no kids or financial issues to resolve which made it much simpler.

It still takes a set amount of time though internet or in person as there is a legal procedure to follow, things have to be filed in a certain order at the court, so it will be only as quick as it can be IYSWIM. but if there are no issues tehn why not the internet, it was very easy and convenient for us anyway.
