apologies for title, I am bereft of ideas as the sodding times 'kindly' edited my profile for me. Angry

LOL Watch!!!!

If you ever get fed up of dating or your day job, I think there is a whole new world of opportunity out there for you as a sleuth!

ChildofIsis · 29/05/2012 14:55

LOL at Watch.

I may have to quote you.

"somewhat of a dampening effect on my knickers"

That's fantastic, a classic quote.

watchoutforthatsnail · 29/05/2012 14:57

:)
yes.
i shall remember that.

I have a HUGE thing for boys with guitars. Boys who play well... yeah, even more so. Since he can shred like a mother fucker i can do a drink tomorrow.

watchoutforthatsnail · 29/05/2012 14:59

:) child - its true. boys with guitars does it for me. everytime. EVERYTIME.

ChaoticismyLife · 29/05/2012 16:06

Grin at 'somewhat of a dampening effect on my knickers'

I had to google fimo models Hmm

No, it doesn't look good but if you still want to go on the date then go. You had a good time last time so you should again even if it doesn't go anywhere.

ChildofIsis · 29/05/2012 16:30

That was brave of you Chaotic, googling anything mentioned on mn always needs brain bleach.

I used to sell Fimo so knew the young man to be a grown up toddler.
If however he can play guitar then I'm with Watch on that one, guitatists are hot hot hot.

ChaoticismyLife · 29/05/2012 16:33

Yes, I've learned that with the likes of dragon butter and blue waffle HmmI never learn Grin

ChildofIsis · 29/05/2012 16:42

I suppose fimo could be made to look like stuff you wouldn't want to google. May be that's what he models? Unmentionables...

Watch could ask him!!!

PostBellumBugsy · 29/05/2012 16:48

The Fimo thing is definitely something to move over very quickly. The thought of someone aged 29 (who isn't a teacher) making stuff with Fimo is just a bit weird. But then again, maybe he is as good with Fimo, as he is with a guitar. Wink

ChildofIsis · 29/05/2012 16:51

Maybe he models fimo into prototypes for ann summers?

watchoutforthatsnail · 29/05/2012 16:51

Child. Yep, yep they are.

I knew he was in a gigging band. Checked out their webpage and they are the number 1 gigging band in several counties. And have played some big gigs, support acts for big names. Hes lead guitar, its his band.

Hes leaving to do solo stuff.

He's very very very good. Im shocked.
It makes him instantly 1000% more attractive ( though this leads to me having weird crushes like Justin hawkins , before he got fat)

Anyway, ill go. Based on that, and judge from how tomorrow goes.

ChildofIsis · 29/05/2012 16:51

Maybe he is the model??

I know this isn't helping Watch but it is amusing.

watchoutforthatsnail · 29/05/2012 17:24

:)

His parents are teachers.....

I don't need to see another giant penis. I had a run of them early this year!!!!!!

watchoutforthatsnail · 29/05/2012 19:50

Ok, am I being stupid?

He text me at 3:15, long, chatty text, asked if I was still on for tomorrow.

I replied at 3:40 ish saying yes, you? :)

And ive heard nothing back at all. We haveht set or even mentioned a Time.

This is rubbish and crap, isnt it? It's not me being needy?

MirandaWest · 29/05/2012 19:58

Possibly a bit crap of him, but whether it is or not, if it matters to you it is important IYKWIM

MyLittleMiracles · 29/05/2012 20:08

My sister didn't leave home til she was 28 and then moved in with her partner, yet I moved out at 16, married at 17 and went back to mums for 5 months cos is circumstances. I have never been dropped off on a date (advantage of mum NOT driving) but would die of embarrassment if I was.

I understand your feelings watch

Today has been a good day but I am a little sun burnt (think tomato and now peeling) but all is good.

watchoutforthatsnail · 29/05/2012 20:08

I find it a bit rude.
Its almost 5 hours since he asked, and then I've not heard anything.

Surely he's meant to be keen at this point?

But I'm not sure if im.just being demanding?

( and combined with the other issues, I'm edging closer and closer to cancelling. )

If he had replied within a few hours i wouldnt mind. And would still go, you know.

TimeForMeAndDD · 29/05/2012 20:10

Watch not needy, but frustrated, and understandably so. This is not something I would tolerate in a relationship, standards and all that. As it's not yet a relationship I would say try to chill but it is something you could talk about when you meet. It's possibly an indicator of the type of person he is, laid back to the point of being horizontal, possibly goes hand in hand with the fact he lives at home and has no responsibilities. It's all helping to build a picture of him and aid your decision as to whether he is someone you would want to emotionally invest in.

Hi to everyone else. Smile

TimeForMeAndDD · 29/05/2012 20:12

Not demanding at all Watch, you just have expectations. I wouldn't like to be kept waiting this long for a reply either, I would have text him asking if he was still ok for tomorrow as his lack of response is indicating otherwise! But I'm a cow Grin

MyLittleMiracles · 29/05/2012 20:14

But going cos there is something you like about them is the best reason. And I LOVE that quote, permission to steal?

watchoutforthatsnail · 29/05/2012 20:20

Thanks Time :)

Prompted by you, I've just text ' ah, am I.to assume It's not ok with you?'

So, not so much of a rant as ' Ffs, I'm not going to sit waiting for you to get your arse in gear, and dude you live at home'

If I don't get a reply within an hour, or some kind of reason why he couldn't reply, then I'm cancelling. Im not going to the hastle of having a babysitter and racing around getting ready for someone so flakey.

Hes replied... Said sorry, he had replied in his head, but not actually text, and he does that a lot.

So- honestly, all things considered. Should I go?
( Time, help me)

TimeForMeAndDD · 29/05/2012 20:34

Right. If you really really like him and can see this going further, then go. If you honestly cannot see yourself with him, in a relationship, then save your money and don't go.

I think your concerns about him are valid, as you are looking for 'long term' not a casual hook up. I also think he is coming across as a bit self important, he replies to texts in his head but doesn't actually send? Hmm. He would be annoying me by now and I would be thinking I deserve better.

And there you have it Grin

watchoutforthatsnail · 29/05/2012 20:38

Nope, thats what I'm thinking too :)

Tollysfolly · 29/05/2012 20:42

I've never had any cock pictures :( I must be on the wrong site.. are you on POF lol...
I've got a second date tomorrow evening. going do a walk along the beach while ds2 is in beavers.. it's only an hour but fingers crossed it will be nice. he texts every day.. first thing tosay good morning and at night. he seems quite sweet but I dont know if the texting is a good or bad thing?
watch thats is a weird crush...I used to watch dan and Justin Hawkins practice in my aunties front room while we younger. I don't think they've ever been hot..
