Now you really know your dh if you could turn back time would you marry him/have children with him all over again or would you make a different choice?

Yes, without a shadow of a doubt. Married 5 years, together for 8 with 2 children.
Seeing how fantastic a father he is would probably make me want to marry him more Smile

Beanbagz · 04/05/2012 14:14

Definatley yes, but it's been 18½ years & 2 kids since we got married so there's no way i'd fit in the same dress! (to be fair DH doesn't fit in his suit either).

hermionestranger · 04/05/2012 14:17

Yes absolutely! We're planning on renewing our vows in a couple of years!

I LOVE 'smashing' - it made me smile and I love your post and feel exactly the same way about my DH of 14years

Kendodd · 04/05/2012 14:20

Yes, yes, yes. 16 years married.

Kendodd · 04/05/2012 14:21

I suspect this is a bit of a self selecting group though.

CupsofTeaAndHandfulsOfCake · 04/05/2012 14:38

Yes, because he's so lovely and I know I am lucky to be married to him for lots of reasons and I loved our wedding day.
Also he is very good in bed [lucky me smiley]

FarloRigel · 04/05/2012 14:54

Yes and knowing what a rock he was for DD and I through DD's cancer treatment, I would insist on making a speech this time so I could tell everyone how bloody proud of him I am.

FunnysInLaJardin · 04/05/2012 14:56

yes, been together 24 years and married for 14.

Pinot · 04/05/2012 14:57

oikopolis · 04/05/2012 16:30

nickelhasababy · 04/05/2012 17:05

yes, yes I would.

in fact, I keep telling him about the plans for our wedding the next time we have one Grin

summerintherosegarden · 04/05/2012 19:55

Really glad to read all the positive responses from people married 10+ years - even if it is a self selecting group. There is so much heartache and sadness on the Relationships board that this thread is very heartwarming to read.

julienoshoes · 04/05/2012 20:21

We've been living together for 32 years tomorrow, and married for 29. I'd marry him now in a heartbeat.
His relationship with his children is wonderful, he is the best father I could ever have chosen. They all adore him.
And I'm as much in love now as I was then...and lucky for me he feels the same.

BeaOnSea · 04/05/2012 20:23

Yes.

Now, if you asked him the same question .............Wink

Yama · 04/05/2012 20:25

Yes, yes and thrice yes!

I reckon if everyone brought up their sons the way my mil did then we'd all be alright. (I'm giving her all the credit as she was a single Mum)

BigBoPeep · 04/05/2012 20:42

only been married a year and together for 3 but yes, no hesitation. i wish we'd met earlier! love him more everyday.....from someone who didnt used to believe in all that stuff!
