Hi Upsy can't tell you how glad I am that I'm not imagining things! Where on earth has the thread gone? I'm using this place as a lifeline at the moment and have just started a bottle of wine and need some perspective. DD comes home in a few minutes... If I remember rightly you have school-age children too and are concerned about drinking in front of them :(

Soma, if you were going mad, then so was I. I can't remember where you're at at the moment but i poured half a bottle of gin down the sink this morning (which i'd been hiding in my knicker drawer) and sneaked the bottle into a bin on the way to work. Please please try to pour the wine away if you can, drink some water. I remember reading a quote on another website yesterday saying "You'll never regret not having that drink. We're all here for you. I'm leaving work in a minute but will be back later. The fact that you're worried about how this is affecting your DD means that you're a good mum. Hang on in there, I'm thinking of you.

Some weird stuff happening with MN in the past few days - whole thing keeps crashing and some posts I know I made have vanished - not deleted vanished, but just utterly vanished. Maybe whole threads are temporarily disappearing too?
