Collaborative law

I have been going through the early stages of a marriage split as my wife has told me she wants us to go our separate ways. I have been looking after our son for 5 years while she went to work. I gave up my career to do this which we did both aggree to. My son is now settled in school and she wants me leave. I have been to a solicitor for legal advice and so has she. We tried to sort things out but she wants everything on her terms. It now looks like we will be going to collaborative law. Has anyone got any idea how good or bad this could turn out as I feel like I'm losing all the time.

I have no doubt you'll get some helpful responses here from those who've been through the collaborative process, but I would suggest that you also copy your post and paste it as a new thread on the Legal board.

At the risk of teaching you to suck egss, click on 'All Topics' (top left) and scroll to the Legal section to post on the relevant board.
