What kind of food does your DH like. a favourite for special meals in our house is prawns in lemon and garlic to start, really easy to make - takes about 5 minutes to prepare and the same to cook, depends on what you like for a main type meal though as there are so many choices, but recently I cooked a pasta dish for my dh that equally only took about 10 minutes to cook, and about 15 minutes to prepared, if that, for dessert you could do something simple like ice cream, but I also found a recipe recently for chocolate and ginger sponge which is dead simple and cooks in the microwave so doesn't take for ever.

Just a couple of ideas really, with quick recipes as you might not have much time with such a young baby, let me know if want recipes and I'll be happy to send them to you
