DP and I have nearly 3 yo DS. DP works part time and is at home with DS one day a week. I work fulltime but compressed into 4 days. On my day off I put DS into nursery (so he's there 4 days per week). I pay for one day and the remaining 3 days come out of joint budget. Now I say 'my day off' but on that day I clean, wash, shop and cook for the week (Id like to add that he has 4-5 hours to himself every Sat golfing). When he comes home and asks how my 'day off' has been you'd think Id been lying about scratching myself!!
