I met DH on my first Cellmates date. I've got a mate who's been on it for five years and keeps meeting nutbags. I'm clearly not as choosy as her Grin

Been on it a week - not a sausage. Pun intended.

Met my DH on Guardian Soulmates, and beforehand I'd had dates with a few men off there who were all nice, just not for me. I know of a few people who've met their partners off GS, so 2 thumbs up from me!

I found it much better than Match / dating direct / eharmony etc. Majority of people on GS seemed to be educated and liberal, which was a good starting point.

good luck!

I've been on and off GS for several years and it's the only site that I've tried (and I've tried a few) where the men have been relatively normal. I've been on LOTS of dates over the years and only had a handful of really bad ones. Most were fine but there was just no chemistry. I had a couple of short (6 month) 'relationships' from it. My advice for any online dating site would be not to have high expectations and treat it as an introductory agent rather than a match making one. Ultimately it's all down to chemistry which will either be there or it won't, irrespective of the site.
Good luck!
