Crikey, have no experience of this, but can hand hold till someone comes along who does.

Have the police offered support. Have you been to your GP to get counselling?

How awful. Do you feel safe now, knowing he can't come near you?

K0404 · 03/03/2012 22:15

I don't feel safe to go back to my he town cos his family are pretty pissed off so I don't trust them at all. Yes I'm going to sort out counselling through the sexual crimes people I just wanted to talk to someone who's been through it too Sad

I think partner rape is very difficult to deal with emotionally because you may love and miss the rapist. Sadly it's a very common occurence - the vast majority of rapes are by partners or ex partners rather than by strangers. If you are not feeling very safe where you live have you considered going to a refuge? Have you spoken to Women's Aid or your local domestic abuse service? They will understand what you are going through and will be able to support you.

Yes me and my lo are in a refuge, I'm going to get counselling and I'm also inferring help from other bodies at the moment but cos its only been nearly a week things are taking their time to sort out. It's just nice to read/chat when you get in bed. Bedtime is horrible I miss him the old him not the new him and feel so sad our relationship is over, BUT WHY! Sad
