relationship advice please....

Some advice would be good please, after being a single parent of 2dc for 4 years and feel abit of a novice with relationships. I have met a guy, and we have been seeing each other for 4 months.

I am unclear on where I stand, we see each other most evenings and occasionally go out one night in the weekend. I have grown fond of him. When we first started seeing each other we did confess that we were not looking for a serius relationship (i wasn't entirely honest about that).

Its to the point where I don't what to regard him as when we go out with friends. Are we in a relationship or are we just friends with benefits?

ittlehappen - have you thought about asking him what you're asking us?

It sounds as if there's a bit of both going on here especially if you are going out and about with mutual friends.

Does he see other women?

Given that you've only been seeing him for 4 months, I suggest you keep going with the flow and enjoy yourself as he might be a slow burner and he may take fright if you make a premature declaration of more serious intent, as it were.

On the other hand, if natural - as opposed to forced/planned - opportunity arises you could express yourself as having grown very fond of him but, after saying no more than that, I suggest you leave the ball in his court.

If you are sharing bodily fluids you shouldn't be scared to ask him how things are going in his mind and how he sees the next few months.

As far as I'm aware he isn't seeing anyone else.
I think I will go with the flow for the time being and continue enjoying the time, a few more months perhaps. There is one thing dating around but when you grow fond feelings for someone, its a whole new world.
