Do you mind your DPs 'fetishes'?

Not quite sure if fetish is the right word really.

My DP likes to wear certain underwear at night. He first told me years ago and then it didn't bother me too much. It wasn't much of a turn on but it was harmless.

Now he has more of this underwear than he does of his 'normal' ones. Everytime I do the washing it pisses me off. I have commented that I think it is a bit too much but he doesn't reply. If I say I know he has bought more, he says he hasn't even when I know the stuff I have washed is new.

If your DP really enjoys something that is harmless but you don't exactly find it attractive, do you just put up with it?

Well if it was common market i guess half this board wouldn't exist...

I have loads of DP's old discarded underwear, it's comfier they show up over the waistbands of my jeans though so don't tend to wear them in the day. I also steal his shirts to sleep in which he does actually get annoyed about. So I don't do that as often.

Mini that is weird, I have a thing about shirt edges, if I see someone wearing a short sleeved shirt with really crisp ironed sleeve edges or the edge where the buttons are is crisp and ironed too I have a massive urge to go and finger it. I have one of DS' outgrown shirts somewhere near my bed which I do this with too and the edges of pillowcases have a similar feeling, I have to have the right pillowcase to sleep with.

My mum mentioned it one day and said I'd always done it, even as a tiny baby I used to do it on her shirts when she was breastfeeding me - it must be where it comes from as a comfort thing. I wonder if your DH is the same!

He says it's comforting. I get the cotton thing, I used to take the corners out of the pillow cases when I was a kid.

The lacy boxers on the lovehoney site are vair nice mrscynical although one's nether regions may feel a tad parky in some of the styles .

The moo pouch is just toooo cute - I might have to invest in one for my amusement value only as I can't imagine any of my current squeezes agreeing to model it unless bribed to do so.

So it's a comfort thing rather than a sexual thing? It wouldn't bother me - he's doing no harm. There are some weird fetishes about - it's pretty tame tbh :)

I would say no harm in it too. I'd find it odd, maybe amusing, but happy that he felt able to be open with me about the undies. What an awful life it must be for people who feel they must hide their peccadillos.

My ex had a thing about women smoking cigars. Occasionaly he would ask me to oblige. ugghh. The thought of it makes me want to puke now.

Fiance is developing a nice little foot fetish. I'm fine with that as i have dainty trotters and he has gentle hands

izzyizin I dunno if this would be the website to mention it . I would never be able to post again without everyone thinking there's the woman with the weirdo dp. It's something that the idea leaves me distinctly cold, however he knows that and as I'm pretty liberal in every other way he's never mentioned it since that first time.
