Bought myself a Valentine's Present. ;)

In the absence of anything else going on, I have bought myself a Valentine's present from lovehoney. :) Delivered right on time this morning. Postman had NO idea why I was so smiley, I think.

Can thoroughly recommend this idea, if you have been disappointed by substandard offerings or have a lack of presents forthcoming. I feel like a million dollars now.

I'm celebrating fudge day. If he's lucky, he might get some.

That sounds strangely rude Robinsure...but it may be my mind. I am ashamed of myself. But yes, I am in a situation (dumped after 20 years) where I might have to buy myself something.

LOL at 'Fudge Day'. Do we want any more details or shall we leave that to our imaginations? It's not even Friday and it doesn't sound very romantic.

punkatheart, I think it is a cliche, but not necessarily without any basis, that you really benefit from starting to love yourself again after a breakup (or dumping - me too) and it does wonders for your confidence. :)

To mix my terms, fudge day is perfectly vanilla, thank you! Both in terms of content, and in terms of flavour.

I just treated myself to a romantic lunch of M&S roast beef flatbread and chocolate chunk cheesecake....it's the small gestures that mean so much :)

I'm going to buy myself a present too, not sure what yet though :) I've bought myself flowers already :)

I bought myself some shower gel, nothing extravagant, just Bodyshop. I did drop 1000 hints but to no avail, so I bought it myself!

I think that's lovely that you've made sure you got what you wanted.
