Oh yes, I like that changing a light bulb thing without getting on a chair too, in fact all tall person jobs actually (dh is 6'4")

Feistybird · 18/01/2006 14:21

He does dog poo patrol in the garden - I adore him for that.

FrayedKnot · 18/01/2006 14:24

DH makes me a cup of tea every morning on his way out to work (7.15) I feel so guilty because by the time I surface to drink it, it has usually gone cold.

I should love him more for it I think.

not married, got a boyf so he doesn't do much really, but great when he gets up 2 babysit for me in the morning, but loveliest time was I felt ill one morning and was panicking about having to get up to do lunch (he had got up to look after dd) and he said "Don't worry, you stay in bed, I'll take care of everything". This is a guy who hardly cooks for himself!

I married a super fixer, and thank my lucky stars that I went for a practical and not arty type every day. Only have to say "its broken" and it is apart on the floor and fixed again! In fact the first time I took DH home to meet my Mum he fixed her washing machine!

puff · 19/01/2006 15:25

when he clears the drains instead of calling dynorod

harpsichordcarrier · 19/01/2006 15:27

I like to see him playing with dd1 [sigh]. in the big box the Christmas tree is stored in, pretending it is a rocket.
and bouncing on the trampoline to get dd2 to sleep.
he don't fix nuffink though.
also the garden is a no go zone for him.
if he steps off the patio a big alarm goes off.
