as some of you know I am fed up of dh changing his mind about the jobs he gets and always looking for others. well over the last 2 days I have deleted 3 messages from the answer 'phone from companies he has mailshotted his CV to.

uh oh. Was that a good idea ?

What if they phone back and DH speaks to them and they ask why he didn't respond to their message ?

Twiglett · 10/01/2006 18:33

think you need to tell him .. that you did it by accident ...

you risk ruining his professional reputation

and jeapordising your relationship

helsi · 10/01/2006 18:35

i know - i have of that but maybe they got the wrong number?
i could just forget to pass the message on. - he does that with me occasionally.

I will come up with something!

NomDePlume · 10/01/2006 18:38

I have to say that if my DH did this to me (deleted my messages on purpose to keep them from me) I'd be bloody furious.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 10/01/2006 18:38

You have been naughty, yes. I think you ought to tell him.

LadySherlockofLGJ · 10/01/2006 18:39

Helsi

Was it you the other day on the £20k thread ??

helsi · 10/01/2006 18:40

I'd be cross too if it happened to me but he has told me he hasn't sent anymore out - so if he hasn't sent them then they can't have 'phoned can they! I am only getting him to tell the truth if it does come out! that's my lne of defence - don't lie to me as it can backfire on you too!

Well maybe he is just covering all bases, it is called playing the game/networking I think he is being very responsible and keeping an eye on the market.

Enid · 10/01/2006 19:41

oh helsi that is mean

at least he is being proactive

philippat · 10/01/2006 19:46

blimey, I'd be furious
so, he needs change in his life, what's behind that, do you reckon?
