DH, out tonight for the 3rd night in a row. (Normally goes out about twice a year)
Started playing his guitar again (Its been 11 years since he picked up his guitar)
Growing a moustache (Movember or sumat)
Just being a bit cagey and strange....

Normaly a home body, adores the bones of our ds, and wouldnt normally go any where on a Friday because ds has footy in the morning and he takes him...

Very kind and attentive, funny and lovely in general, married for 11 years, together for 19, he is a lovely bloke.
mmmmmm? Just a bit Hmm about why the sudden out of character behaviour.
Mid life crisis...OR is he pissing about?

HA PoppaRob! If this was dadsnet, i would have 500 replies like that! Grin
Thanks, he did love his band, and i know that he will really enjoy it. He came in last night with very red and sore fingertips.
Said they need a singer. Apparently the singer that they did have is in another band and cant come to rehearsals...SHE works with them all. He has mentioned a singer, but not once did he say it was a she!

Anyhoo, he came in after midnight, just said he was tired. So i left him alone.
I do thnk its nowt, i was wobbly last night, which is the first time in all the years we have been together, so good going i think.
Im a suspicious person by nature (parents divorced due to infidelity) so i think im fine tuned to these things.

Hmmmmmmm. I will keep an eye out and will be happy if he is. Bless him,He works hard, does good by us and he's a good guitarist too.
I will wind my neck in as they say Blush

As a woman and obssessive about music this sounds legit to me. I rediscovered metal a few months back after a year or so away from it, the buzz never leaves :o '
It may be a she but she can't be in the band, so isn't at the jams, so don't worry :)

gigglepin · 12/11/2011 10:47

well, wesat and watched that thing on pearl jam last night and began to reminicse as the majority of our life has been shrouded in music especially metal so, he has just gone back to our roots Smile

Rule #1 is never bonk within the band. The romance always ends in tears, and what's worse is you lose the bonkee! Wink

PoppaRob · 12/11/2011 14:23

Did the band last Misty?

MistyMountainHop · 12/11/2011 14:29

sadly not - but not to do with me and DH it was because our guitarist emigrated to california :( the band are all still friends and in touch though, in fact me and DH went to L.A earlier this year to visit said guitarist. who is now running a very successful recording studio out there.

and DH still plays now though, in a different band.

what instrument do you play rob ?

Aww, glad to hear you are alright. We all have a wobble now and again and it is nice to have somewhere to let off steam. Get your dancing shoes dusted off, sounds like you will need them soon. x

Life's too short to spend it within the same four walls. Get out there and get boogying OP.

PoppaRob · 13/11/2011 02:31

Misty... I play guitar, uke and mando, all badly, and I sing... badly. The way I see it is those who can, play, those who can't play teach, those who can't play or teach write the book, those who can't play, teach or write build the instruments. www.JupiterCreekMusic.com is me.

MistyMountainHop · 14/11/2011 08:19

wow 4 instruments, thats brilliant rob, i bet it isn't badly! will have a look at your website
