Okay Ladies (and Gents)

Dear Partner has finally taken the hints and proposed.

So now I?m totally stuck for wedding ideas. This will be my second time and his third, he is not keen on a Church wedding and I?m not keen on a Registry office do, so I need some ideas.

Thank you all in advance.

Congratulations!! DH and I got married (2nd time around for both of us) 2.5 years ago. We chose a small hotel in York as that's a special place for us (we live in Berkshire). It was a wonderful day and with it not being first time we didn't feel we had to stick to any of the traditions (top tables etc) unless we wanted to. Is there anywhere that means a lot to you and DP - that may be a starting point? Good luck.

I got married in a hotel and it was wonderful.

Stayed there the night before, was served breakfast, got married, had meal and reception all in the same place and then stayed in the bridal sweet - no fuss or hassel was fab!

We used a converted barn near Wantage. Actually had the legal ceremony on the Friday (few people invited) and the party the next day (complete with made-up ceremony, officiated by my fairy godmother), which was very relaxed.
