Will it ever happen?

I'm nearly 28 and separated from XDH 7 months ago. There is NO chance of us getting back together. I definitely think we made the right decision now, at the time I was devastated but now I'm feeling good about things. I've always wanted to have children and want to be in a steady and stable relationship before I do so.
I know I'm just feeling sorry for myself but I can't help but wonder if I'm going to end up old and single with 20 cats smelling of wee and cabbage!!
I have started going to the gym and have a stressful job with long hours so don't have a huge amount of free time, I feel like everyone I know is married with kids. Where am I ever going to meet anyone!?
Am I ever going to meet the person I want to spend the rest of my life with and have a life together and have children and live happily ever after??

I'm going on a date next week, woohooo!!

I.e It will come my way OR I "don't deserve it" (which is bullshit).

Just believe it will happen! (doesn't mean you don't have to work for it)...

If you believe you will end up with 20 cats, that's what will happen too....

Because that is where your energy is focused on.
