confused

Hi Ladies,

My subject says it all really, i'm really confused about my sexuality, i was married and with my exH for 20 years, he treated me badly, emotional and verbal abuse, i am now divorced from him, but had a couple of male partners since, but in the back of my mind i have this feeling for women, i dont think its a phase, but i dont know what to do about it, can anyone help me please?

What about online dating? Maybe call a gay helpline and ask for advice on how to proceed. Or a night out at a lesbian pub to test the water...Do you know anyone who is a lesbian? Might be the easiest way to spend time with other women who are gay and see how you feel.

just do what makes you happy and dont worry about what anyone thinks.

Its your life, you live how you want.

Sorry, my advice is probably rubbish, I'm sure someone will be along soon with more insight.

There might be an area of mn for gay/bi that might be useful?

shy I'd say don't be in a rush to label yourself as anything, if you have a feeling for women be open to the possibility of meeting one and having a relationship. I'm not sure of your age or where you live etc but I know people of my age group (27) that have had male and female partners (relationships) and no one has batted an eyelid.

Thanks for all your advice ladies, pam i'm 36, I'm not going to rush into anything, but i have been looking online, one of my friends is a lesbian, i have talked to her about things, but just wanted a more wider opinion. :)

Don't feel in any way bad about it, if you are. I personally don't think it's a big deal, whatever makes you happy.

update ladies.....

I am seeing a lovely lady, and i have never felt so happy about it, i have been quite open with her in public when we have been out together, but i am still very careful around my son, he is only 7 still very young to understand everything, she has two children, who are 13 and 12 and they know the situation, i have also told a couple of my friends and they are absolutley fine with it, says it doesn't change anything, so all things good at the minute......

So glad to hear that shylady and delighted you are happy. Good luck with your son, most likely he'll be happy if his mum is happy

Hi Ladies, just an update really, my relationship is going fantastic, i'm so happy, she is perfect in everyway possible, and we are so happy together, my son knows about my relationship and he is so happy, he was the one who said to me that us to love eachother, bless him
