Namechanger. Honest. Tablecloth, lavenderrrr, strawberry, JF etc

I need advice on taking some tasteful and yet downright sexalicious photos of myself for my dp who has been away for a while... I can't be with him on his birthday and I think he'd appreciate a little, ahem, visual reminder. (I have also bought him an actual present, btw Grin)

Have you ever done this? And if so, how do you end up not looking all Readers' Wives-y? I am thinking underwear ON btw, but ykwim!

And... is the reaction generally favourable? Or is this all a bit of a tragic idea?

God, what if he just laughs?

(cannot believe I have just started this thread)

oh, and fiddle about with exposure, colour saturation etc etc, to get rid of blemishes and what have you..I've frequently made my photo's look absolutely nothing like me...erm in a good way...well perhaps it's cheatingBlush

As a variation of the Scarlet style photo you could try this

Naked, sit on floor in front of a mirror, draw your knees up with one arm (like hugging your knees) and cross your feet at the ankle. Adjust your legs so that your ankles cover your lady garden, and your knees as much of your breasts as you want. You can still see to take the photo, can even look down a little. Its also possible to have the camera right in front of your face if you are feeling shy. He

So your DP will get you totally naked, a hint of what is there but in reality absolutely nothing is on show. Its also very flattering. Avoid the flash, try diffused daylight. Take lots and pick the best.

Ok, have done a few. Can't decide which is the best so will sleep on it tonight and pick in the morning! Thanks for all the tips, will let you know the reaction Grin

There is just one rule to taking nude photogrpahs, and it is this:

You must ALWAYS ALWAYS factor in the chance that someone else will see them. By accident, design, spite, nosiness, they may end up in hands other than those you intended. No one ever thinks that those saucy shots taken for a trusted lover in the privacy of their own bedroom will ever end up being handed round the pub for a bunch of men to guffaw at, but some of them do.

So just make sure you look damn fine.

yep, keep your face out & airbrush over any distinguishing features Wink

let's have a look then :o

if you don't have Photoshop you can use Picnik photo editing.
Because everything looks better in BW, or blurred, or both..

Well, he got the photo this morning. And all of a sudden he's booked his ticket home - two days earlier than originally planned! Wink

So, yeah, I think the effort was appreciated! Thanks all Grin
