Is it harmful to orgasm too much?

Sorry I've looked everywhere for a 'sexual health' type forum. I have namechanged in case I offend.

I'm worried I orgasm too much and I might even be addicted to it. Penetrative sex always results in an orgasm and I would feel 'cheated' if it didn't. I don't think I would enjoy sex without the orgasm. I know that sounds selfish.

I thought this was the same for everyone until I spoke to a female friend a few years ago who said it was absolutely not normal to orgasm every time you have sex Confused.

I'm also worried I'm addicted to masturbating. I've been doing it in some form since I was 13 but I don't know what is the normal age to start. I have days where I masturbate 3 or 4 times and again I orgasm every time. Sometimes I will avoid sex with my DH in preference of masturbating because it's just less messy and also in some ways more enjoyable Blush. I think he is starting to realise that I am doing this.

Do you think I have a problem and how should I tackle it?

The only thing I can think of as being a possible problem is that you are avoiding sex with your DH. Sex with your DH has all sorts of additional bonuses like him loving you, you loving him etc...you know all that emotional stuff.

There is more to loving sex than orgasms.

You have me thinking though....doesn't all masturbation result in orgasm? Isn't that the point? I guess if you're learning, or interrupted it might not work but otherwise why would it not

ButWhyIsTheGinGone · 11/09/2011 21:05

Hang on, let me get this straight.... you're saying women have orgasms?! Shock

LeBOF · 11/09/2011 21:07

hi gears. sorry to see that you aren't been taken seriously, here.

think that you're right to be worried - multiple orgasms are a real problem and linked to stroke, blindness, intellectual decline, etc

do seek some proper RL help.

before it's too late.

poor you.

they make your palms grow hairs too

Somebody better tell Newbiemummy. If she can still read, that is. She must have dropped about twenty IQ points since she posted.

Maybe you could spend more time on your gammar instead - orgasm isn't a verb.

"Sometimes I will avoid sex with my DH in preference of masturbating because it's just less messy and also in some ways more enjoyable"

Oh well, you could always get rid of him completely...

But, to answer your question - yes, I think you have a real problem - in fact, you sound like a total wanker!!

AnyFucker · 11/09/2011 22:01

Msp...to get the full effect from your post, you would have had to spell every word correctly Grin

fargate · 11/09/2011 22:07

hopefully, newbeemummy has only dislocated her toe

dislocating her brain might present more serious problems requiring a visit to A&E - and posting in AIBU/chat for URGENT advice.

IMO palm hair often looks nice plaited or in cornrows - so not so much a problem as stroking out [ha!]

I'm really shocked that the OP is not being taken seriously here. Remember,
posters who post these sort of genuine sexual health questions are risking their very liberty! She could get 18 weeks inside if she's not more careful. according to yesterday's news.

Mind you, think of all that uninterrupted wanking time.
