I'm not allowed to call him Willy O'Neil anymore and he's mocking my interest in vegetarianism.

Obviously, contributors to these threads dont know the personalities involved and what else might be at play and not shared. All I can say is that when my ex started to object to his pet name of 10 years, he had turned his attention to someone else. Best to have a heart to heart with him just to put your mind at rest.

How long have you been with him? If it's not been very long maybe this has just run its course.

Sounds like he's telling you that it's over he finds you iritating, or it's time to work things out in a way you will both be happy with long term. I suspect the former unfortunately. HOw long have you been together?
