So....I cant believe I am asking this but anyways. There is someone I am...interested in and him me. We ended up having a 'night' together last week which was...amazing. Anyhow. He wants to come over tonight and see me. Great, would love to see him but...I suspect things could end up going in the same direction as last time....and its that time of the month for me. I dont know whether I should mention. I dont want him to think I only want to see him if we can get it on but also dont want the embarressment of having to say to him should he come over and....yeah. I am so rubbish at this new 'thing' stuff. Feel free to laugh at me.

If you know one another well enough to shag one another, then why don't you know one another well enough to say you're on your period? Sorry if that's a noddy question. Sounds to me like you've made it clear that that is what your relationship is about ie shagging. If you don't want it to be about that then suggest a date. If you do want it to just be booty calls, then tell him the booty is on the other foot and he'll have to wait (unless he's ok with it).
