because, really. I do not understand men at all.

I was talking on msn to my friend last night, we havent been friends all that long, there is a little bit of 'frisson' there. The conversation went like this:

Him - What are you up to, are you free

Me - not right now im not, its late, im going to bed in a momment ( it was gone 11)

Him - yeah, i know, im pushing it, id just really like us to go out.

Me - ok, when are you free?

Him - ill have to check my diary.

Me- ok, well, let me know. Sorry, but im not going to come out at gone 11. If it was earlier id of said yes though.

Him- well. You should say yes. Id of come and fucked you then. You should say yes because im busy and its now or not at all.

me - goodbye

WTF!!!!!!!!! can i just add hes over 30 and a teacher fgs. I do not understand men in the slightest.

If he wasn't drunk then he's utterly clueless and probably hasn't had sex since Oasis were credible.

garlicbutter · 25/07/2011 14:04

Asking bluntly goes "I fancy you, can we meet up and have sex?" Not "I'll give you a quick fuck if you're desperate". Sheesh, some people!!

dogfish · 25/07/2011 14:05

Redder - I agree, his main mistake was to think his dreadful lines would work. And they have an arrogant tone.

But Puppy - big deal if he was only interested in sex and tried to mmake himeslf look busy. Who cares? Happens all the time and at least he was up front about it.

ItsMeAndMyPuppyNow · 25/07/2011 14:12

Hmm dogfish. It's not the "I'm pushing it because I'd really like us to go out" and the "I'll have to check my diary" responses that I am taking issue with.

It's the totally dickish response to being turned down.

Apocalypto · 25/07/2011 14:43

@ MyPuppy

Nah, it's the kitchen / double glazing salesman's favourite technique, the buy-now-or-the-price-goes-up ploy.

"I can do you a kitchen for £10,000 but it'll only be £5,000 if you sign up right now".

The correct answer is "ok, off you fuck".

Pixieonabroomstick · 25/07/2011 16:18

No wonder he is single. Ugh.

SpringchickenGoldBrass · 25/07/2011 20:58

There's nothing wrong with saying to someone 'I'd like to have sex with you.' Starting out by saying you want to date someone when you only want a quick shag is a bit rude. Flouncing and sulking when they don't agree to a date is childish.

Gay40 · 25/07/2011 22:12

He sounds like a fucking cock.

thesunshinesbrightly · 26/07/2011 01:49

A friend he is not..he only wants to fuck you,as he so attractively put it.

Disgusting no wonder he's single.

mathanxiety · 26/07/2011 04:31

Oasis were credible?

Whatever happened to 'what's your sign?'
