Early last year DH joined a mixed martial arts club where he trained 3 times a week. After a while he started gym training twice a week too and began running every morning. Just after christmas he stayed really late one night at the martial arts club. I had suspion that something dodgy was going on so I checked the times of the club and light I thought, it closed at 9pm. He didn't get home until almost midnight. I suspected he was having an affair but when he came home he had obviously been fighting and not just the usual martial arts stuff, he was bruised and cut all over . I asked if someone had jumped him when he came out and he said no and got quite defensive over it and told me to drop it and stop going on. I left it but the gym/training started to become almost every night and every now and again he comes home really bruised and 'messed up'. I confided in my brother's girflriend whith whom I'm quite close and she told my brother what was happening. He said it sounds like DH is training for bare knuckle fighting and the actual fights are when he comes home late and bruised. Another thing is he seems to be producing money from nowhere. We share the wages and outgoings etc but DH lately had tons of spare money which he's slpashing out on luxuries and has booked us an appointment for the travel agents this weekend.
I have asked him if he takes part in organised fights and he says no, it's just sparring. I asked if I can come and watch and he says spectators arnt allowed.
So basically he's either doing something dodgy with this club or its an affair?? I don't know what to think.
