Feeling second fiddle to his life

Does anyone else feel like this? My DS is ten months old and all I do is baby lately. We moved to a new town for his job and DP runs two other businesses. How do you get your fella to slow down a bit...I'm missing fun... Saturday night in on my own with baba while he runs his event that's taken most of his time lately. DP was on phone til 10pm at night on my birthday with this bloody event..

And tell me it won't be anymore fun single...

I think your DP has possibly gone a bit OTT on the old hunter-gatherer role thing. i.e. have new child must work all possible hours to provide for child and go out and find a mammoth! I think it is a fairly typical male response to having had a child. He will calm down eventually.

Just tell him you would like to spend time with him and book out some time in his diary!

Have you spoken to him? Does he know how you feel? What was his response?

Yes he knows how I feel, am not backwards about coming forward. But he always says just this one more thing, just this thing, just this.
So am contemplating post break up finances as I'm over it and think that I might get a break every second Sunday Grin
