Now this might not work for everyone - but if it helps a couple of you the HOORAH !!!

I have been concerned that I had surendered to the minutae of motherhood - tiredness/lethagy etc - and the need for a good book rather than a good bonk at bed time ...
I felt that my relationship with DH needed a bit of pizzazz - so decided to go to my local homeopath/"rescue remedy" shop .....

The delightful lady sugested Damiana ( usually recoemmended to blokes ) ....

Well within a week - our love life has been totally transformed. I mean TOTALLY !!

We have gone from once a month to thre times within the last 4 days!! And it's tasteful ( no that's the wrong word!! ) perhaps I should say subtle. None of this "Whoar I feel horny feeling" - but more of a "I dont mind spending an extra half hour with DH before I enjoy my much needed sleep"

And you know what blokes are like ... he feels more loved and is now more attentive and chatty ... so every one wins ....

Just thought I'd mention it - as I so visit threads complining about the lack of intimacy ... HTH

shimmy21 · 16/11/2005 11:26

How much are you being paid to advertise this?

NomDePlume · 16/11/2005 11:27

crystaltips is a long-time poster, aren't you ct ?

spacedonkey · 16/11/2005 11:27

where does one get this stuff?

handlemecarefully · 16/11/2005 11:27

I've tried that and sadly it didn't work for me.

Nothing works for me! - I'm totally sexless!

handlemecarefully · 16/11/2005 11:27

Holland and Barrett stock it and other health food stores

crystaltips · 16/11/2005 11:28

shimmy - you cynic .... no silver crossing palms .... just thought that some folk might find it useful.

Yup I am a longtime - though not always regular poster .....

apologies then CT - it just sounded too good to be true.

SleepyJess · 16/11/2005 11:31

And after taking it, try watching a film called 9Songs, with your DH, currently showing on Sky Box Office... cor bloody hell!!!

Mummyvicky · 16/11/2005 11:37

Hmmmm very interested..nothing to lose!! Im completely zero libido
"Right kids get your coats on were going to the shops"

QueenVictoria · 16/11/2005 11:46

Might try it. If it works i'll change me name to Damiana

Im not expecting it to.........

yoyo · 16/11/2005 11:46

So if it is normally recommended for blokes do you slip your DH some too? You may need chandeliers judging by its success with you.

sandyballs · 16/11/2005 11:50

Is it a natural remedy then? Presumably, being a health shop I suppose! I'm definitely interested, my libido surfaces about every 3 months

crystaltips · 16/11/2005 11:53

from what I gather - yes it's natural ....

yoyo - if I gave some to DH - he'd be coming back here in his lunch break ....

You need to get that link removed Mummyvicky now.
I ahve emailed MN

throckenholt · 16/11/2005 12:11

do you reckon this will result in a sellout of Damiana, and a baby boom in 9 months time

Mummyvicky · 16/11/2005 12:12

I thought links were allowed ! ? I see them all the time for buying things online ?

crystaltips · 16/11/2005 12:12

Kayleigh - wouldnt worry for yourself - as it's advertised more for blokes !!

have trawled the net and there is a lot of scepticism .... but it worked for me !

No MV, its fine but if you go through the process to buy some, everything in your shpping basket is displayed along with your details, your full name, address etc.

I haev emailed mumsnet to remove it.
