Sorry, not paying full attention - thought she was after a letter not a call. You still shouldn't send it though !

Then you could have your own meeting that she could gatecrash and be made to feel not welcome - just think, this could be the start of a family tradition!

starlover · 17/11/2005 20:30

what they're going to do with you? sorry, but you're hardly a part of their family any more are you? fgs what does that even mean? a get together to slag you off?

maybe they will come round and place you under citizens arrest

lol glad your XP is sticking up for you... that must feel good!
you know why she is so cross? because she knows it's true!!!!

Catbert · 17/11/2005 20:42

Family Meeting! What? - XSIL and XMIL together over a coffee - gasping, puffing and generally tutting over your letter, bewailing their lot and wondering how such jolly nice and decent folk like they believe they are could be so maligned!

Fantastic!

Oooh - wonder what the verdict will be! I know, I know! They'll reach the conclusion that on the whole their presents were pants, that they should be more caring over this sweet offspring of their son/brother and decide to call and wholeheartedly and unreservedly apologise.

Do let me know if I am right won't you!

doormat · 17/11/2005 20:43

aimsmum agree that glad you have support of exp
hope everything gets sorted

How's it going with XP, AM? Sounds like quite well?

LoveMyGirls · 17/11/2005 21:23

Hilarous! im glad xp is standing up for you too as if there is anything they can do that they havent already done - serves them right! she started it by sending crap presents and being so harsh and calling you a bitch! such a shame she's upset - no more upset than your dd when she opened her presents!

never send horrible letters as they can be used against you. This is what my mother wisely told me as aschool child when i was fighting with my mates.
