found a message on phone "are you willing to talk or fearful? or am i just full of shit?" a reply, dont know if it was to this, "i can do normal if it would make things less awkward" wtf does this say to you

I agree with Shouty; this sounds like a follow-up conversation to an Incident That Went Too Far - probably with a workmate or similar (because of the 'act normal' part) rather than a stranger.

I'd do some digging; can you get hold of an itemised phone bill? Was there a recent occasion for opportunity?
