Help for friend...URGENT..

A good friend of mine has just been caught out telling the most awful lies.I caught her out telling lies about my 13yr daughter to get her in trouble..Then i have found out from her husband she has been telling lies about him leaving her and taking away the baby to lies about going to weightwatchers,money,telling people her husband has no work then has overtime then back to no work again,worst are the stories that she is seriously ill and has been in and out of hospital for serious operations..in fact most of what she says has been lies.She is refusing to talk to me and wont say much to her husband who is wonderful and would do anything for her.

To be honest i think she might need some help,think she may have a mental problem..

Oh god yeah serious issues...how can i help or should i steer clear..she has a year old baby that im also worried about

I would try to keep in touch with her DH so that you can monitor what is going on and work out what is truth and what is fiction. Also, you can support him and the family with whatever decision they make. Could you babysit the 1yo and any other children sometimes so that the DH can concentrate on his DW?

With a one yr old could it be a pnd related. Does her dh know the helath visitor or gp to talk to?

shes never lied before,not that i know about.I am keeping in touch with her hubby and have offered to look after baby..also suggested she sees a doctor or health visitor asap..

She did have pnd for awhile but was treated..or was it?
