I'd just written a big text asking a friend to check up on DP in the middle of next week to make sure he's remembered to feed the cat AND sent it to DP instead.

Feel really rotten so need ideas as to how I can crawl and grovel which is what I should be doing I guess!

I know it's nothing serious but he always thinks I don't trust him to do things like this (which I don't really). I should have just let him get on with it.

pmsl MOH!

I know someone who sent a txt to his wife instead of his bit on the side once. That involved ALOT of blagging AND grovelling. Not so funny though i guess.

Text him again APRIL FOOL!

MassacreOHara · 01/11/2005 14:53

The worst bit was I'd put at the end 'please don't tell anyone that I've asked you to check'

Still at least it wasn't anything dreadful like QueenVictorias friend! Can't believe I don't trust him to ffed the cat for 4 days.

Actually - ive just remembered! About 4 years ago i sent a text message to a (male) work friend instead of my mum saying "I love you". Boy did i have to backtrack!

They were both texting me at the same time and i got totally muddled up

QueenVictoria · 01/11/2005 15:01

My DP has to remind me to feed the cats when he's not here I sit there wondering why they both sit staring at me meiowing.

PMSL QV! I often text my boss if I need something out of hours and I always worry that I have autimatically put a 'x' on the end. I did once on the bottom of an email to somebody

QV - i had mental pic of your cat and dp sitting in front of you meowing! then i read it again and realise it's your cats plural and your dp isn't even there - i'm tired, that's why I'm thick!

My brother once wrote two notes - one to his football team manager and one to his girlfriend and put them in the wrong envelopes. You can imagine the football team had good fun with that one.....

LOL MOH!

Its a bit like when you're at school and you say out loud "Dad?" instead of Mr Johnson (or whatever your teachers name was).

crazydazy · 01/11/2005 21:57

Or yelling out "Fred" in the throes of passion when his name is actually "John"

QueenVictoria · 01/11/2005 22:00

PMSL crazy!
