sorry for the vent.
I don't get on too well with my mother but it is better since I moved far far away... she is quite a dominant personality and I think she can't cope with me giving her contra to some of her (imo) silly views and doing things my way.
anyway she was here for a visit and she can make me soooo angry.
she always says that my dc are not dressed for the cold weather (she always feels cold btw) so we were outside the dc were fine, hands cold but warm core and warm feet. she said something like 'what you are doing is child abuse and I should call ss'
she is a very fussy eater and will not eat any fish (no allergy issues), meat must be cremated, vegetables mushy and gray. she put her plates in the microwave for 2 mins in addition to my (perfectly adequate) cooking.
she is a natural therapist and goes on and on about vaccinations beeing the work of the devil and conventional medicine is poison (that from a woman who "treated" my asthma with homeopathy)...

smile and nod, smile and nod
I feel much better already :)
