How did u do it?How did DS OR DDs reacted. im frustrated..dont knw how to begin, i have to move from DPs house with my son.

Well, it's very odd at first. Took me a while to just get accustomed to the change in circumstances! And you are in a habit of having another half with you in any given occasion. But, I'm enjoying it now, a year down the line (and 2 weeks from my divorce becoming final!). Have learnt a lot about myself.

My DD has taken things as well as could be expected, but she doesn't have a lot of contact with her father, which has been surprising and sad (he began another relationship 8 weeks after we split and chose to move near the other woman 3 hours away rather than be closer to his daughter). DD is very worried about me having a 'boyfriend' though. Just trying to ease her into the idea gently....

You will be fine. You might not believe it at first...but you will.
