Coital Headaches

Don't know if I've put this in the right section.

Anyone ever experienced this? Just had the most intense pain on orgasm (twice in fact Wink) and have scared myself silly with Google....

Is it worth bothering a doctor?

I had this once and it went on for about 2 weeks. We were decorating in those 2 weeks and I think I had a reaction to the paint. I feel headachy whenever I am around new paint. Scarey though, mine went from no headache and fine, to sharp intense pain just as I orgasmed. The pain stayed then for few hours but reduced in intensity. Might it be a reaction like this?

Meant to say, this was 2 yrs ago and I haven't had it since. We haven't decorated since and if we do I will plan to be away. Other thing it could be is a reaction to stress - is there anything else going on in your life which is unusual?

Makes sense - past six months has seen the end of a very long marriage, seriously ill child, renovating a house, huge upheaval at work. Internet said emotional stress could be a factor, or a brain bleed! Suspect it's the first. Unfortunately the advice was to abstain from sex - first time for me in four years and I'm rather enjoying it, so rather ironic!

Thanks for the reply.
