How quickly into a relationship did you DTD?

I've been with my fella nearly 5 months (first 4 we only emailed/phoned, we've now met and had 5 dates in the last 2 weeks!) and he's coming from his home town to NYC (where I am on business) on Valentines Day to wine and dine me Grin

Is it too soon to have sex? Part of me says absolutely not, we are so attracted to each other, I am on high alert Blush whenever we are together... but my silly mother said something that now makes me wonder whether I should wait. Ugh.

What has she said that makes you wonder?

Who's your boyfriend taking out on Valentine's night, you or your mum?

taokiddy · 11/02/2011 19:25

Noooo, enjoy :)

She just said 5 dates is nothing, I hardly know him. She doesn't believe in the whole getting to know someone through literally hundreds of hours of phone calls and thousands of emails and texts too LOL.

I know, AgeingGrace. He has already said he would be "honored" if we spent the night together on Monday. I mean, honored Grin

I already think I am going to ignore my mother and thoroughly enjoy myself instead!!!

If you both want to then it is a bit of a non issue.
