for the weekend
H has gone to Australia.
So it will just be me and DS.
Can't wait for the peace and quiet.
We can do exactly what we want.
I have a girls lunch tomorrow, and then no plans, can just take it as it comes!!!

Oh joy!!

'I can't wait for the weekend - H has gone to Australia'

Had to laugh Grin

I have nobody in my house for the whole night either. Both dc are out overnight and I have no husband. Hurrah!

Rubyredlips · 21/01/2011 14:19

Sounds brilliant Grin

ItsGraceAgain · 21/01/2011 14:22

WHOO-HOO! Oh, well done Grin x

malinkey · 21/01/2011 17:17

Has he gone for good then?

MrsLucasNorth · 21/01/2011 19:49

Wish mine would! Have fun Grin

suburbophobe · 21/01/2011 20:10

A peaceful house is a joy indeed! ;-)

domeafavour · 21/01/2011 20:31

no, not gone for good.YET.
He's gone to see his mum who is having radiotherapy treatment. then he is back for a week, then away for work, then going back for 2/3 weeks.
but it just feels like such a relief.

You won't miss him then?

domeafavour · 21/01/2011 21:20

Hope you enjoy the peace and quiet. Sorry that he has to come back though!

domeafavour · 21/01/2011 22:13

DS and I got fish and chips on the way home from nursery.
just got the shopping delivery and got all the stuff that i like, and I didn't have to put it in the fridge the way he likes it!!

tbf, he's not been that bad. he is very upset about his mum, has hardly been around, and not really talked about "us"
its just knowing he's not here makes me feel a bit free.

oo don't ya just luv it when your man tells you how he likes the domestic chores done?

'No, you must put the food in the fridge like this ( shows you how )'

'well fuck off and hire a servant then'....

MrsLucasNorth · 22/01/2011 10:11

Mine's obsessed with laundry. Will go round rearranging everything on the dryer in winter, and point out all the things I've pegged out 'upside down' in summer...Angry

TimeForACHEEKYWine · 22/01/2011 12:21

Dont you get on then???

domeafavour · 22/01/2011 15:58

Funny lucasnorth, his mother does that when she is here. Spends all day moving the washing round on the line!!

Cheekywine, no we are supposed to be separating, but he is in denial and won't leave the house. But new development is that his mum is quite poorly, so things up in the air a bit, while we figure out how bad it is. She's in Australia and doesn't know quite how bad things are between us.
H is away pretty much til the end if feb, so will reassess then. Not reassess us, just reassess whether I can insist on kicking him out of his mum is terminal.

Don't even get me started on my MIL! Hope yours isn't too poorly though for her sake and yours by the sound of it.

domeafavour · 22/01/2011 22:24

he's just phoned me, talking about how much we would need to go and live there!! I know he's a bit upset atm, but fgs!!!
I AM NOT GOING ANYWHERE WITH YOU
